Plano Model 3701 Small Parts Bins

The Plano model 3701 storage unit is a handy size case for all sorts of smaller parts. But even with the dividers it has, it isn't very efficient when it comes to really small parts.

So I designed up some bins to fit inside the organizer that further divides the spaces into halves and quarters. I was inspired a lot by Tex's dividers for the HDX storage case (which I also use extensively).

The bins I designed won't fit at the ends of the rows, just the middle slots. However, I think you'll find this still provides ample, flexible storage options.

As far as fitment goes, you'll find these get tighter the more you add to a row until you've filled they'll end up being very snugly in place. This wasn't intentional, but was kind of a happy accident. I would have reduced their width accordingly, but I've found I actually like this happening.

Printing

Important note: print files are setup for a .6mm nozzle, and sliced for PETG.

These don't need to be super pretty so speed is more important than aesthetics. I least in my uninformed opinion. As such, you can print these as they are, without supports and they come out well enough.
