This model is specifically designed to fit the Plano rifle ammo case Model 122950. It's a 50-round case designed for the 308 family of cartridges, and its larger design also accommodates WSM cartridges. I recently tried using it with my 6.5 Creedmoor rounds, and there was plenty of room for them to move around. However, this insert keeps my 6.5 Creedmoor cases snugly in place, making it a simple drop-in solution that doesn't require any adjustments. When the case is closed, the insert remains securely in position and won't shift or move. I'm confident that this insert will work with all 308 family of cases. The notches on the insert face the front of the Plano case, ensuring a secure fit.
