On December 3rd, 2008, the GD Working project was completed by Dymaxion.Kim. The creation utilized Powder Injection Molding with steel powder as its primary materials. To achieve a reduction of 1/64 (equivalent to 1/8 * 1/8), a two-stage process was implemented. The design met criteria of low cost, compactness, light weight, and high reliability, ultimately serving as a lightweight robot arm for motion purposes.
