Revision of Compact Planetary Gearbox by raldrich - Tolerance Issues Resolved. I've addressed some tolerance issues that cropped up on my first prints and separated all the pieces since the print has to be extremely slow and high-quality, which means I can't print for 9 straight hours. To assemble a complete gearbox, you'll need a part from each STL file and three planet_gear.stl files. It's recommended to use slow speeds and low layer heights as possible. The ratio is 40:9. Here is the BOM provided by raldrich (I didn't print the M6 variation, so I won't include that one): M3x12 Socket Head Cap Screw 4 M3 Nuts 1 M3x6 Set Screw 4 M3x35 Socket Head Cap Screws 1 M8 Hex Head Cap Screw 2 608ZZ (8x22x7) 1 M8 or M6 Nylok Nut After printing, sanding was necessary but the gearbox works overall as expected. I haven't tested it at maximum torque yet, but it looks very promising.
