A basic three-degree-of-freedom planetary gearbox prototype was created, suitable for both real-life applications and educational purposes. The model consists of approximately 200 parts, with a 3D design made using SolidWorks software. Prototyping was done using Ultimaker 2+ and 3D printers, involving over 100 3D printed components combined with standard parts like bearings, bolts, nuts, and retaining rings. The 3D model designer is CGPdesign member Jasmin Smajic, while renders were done by Adi PaX Pandzic. Full SolidWorks 2017 3D models are available for download, but commercial use requires prior consent.
