Planetary Explorer Modules RhoLaBoP Spaceship (Rhombicuboctahedron Large Bird of Prey)

This is another Planetary Explorer Module, suitable for holding 3.75 inch / 1:18 scale action figures. This one is inspired by a certain early 70's sci-fi TV series, but it's modular design allows for many more combinations. The different parts plug in to each other, allowing for many different possible combinations. Does not require any glue, screws or tools to assemble. Many modules from previous ships will also connect to these new ones. The spaceship pictured is not quite as big as I wanted, but I ran out of filament. And my printer is now clogged. If I remedy both of those things I may post a "finished" version with 2 more Rhombicuboctahedron pods. Features of this model: - modular design, can be arranged in many different configurations - removable tops for easy inside viewing - removable floor hatch for escape or entry - hollow pods for storage - removable landing feet and engine cones - 4mm diameter holes in exterior for plugging in blaster or antennas, etc. - sliding doors in cargo bay - command module accommodates standard seat from other models - multiple bottom connector holes to accommodate thrusters or eventually wheels If you need some vintage figures to add to the scene, there are some here: https://www.ebay.com/str/petesactionfigures Or you can print yourself some figures from other designs of mine here on thingiverse such as https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4944977!
