Planet Express Building

This is my initial try at modeling an object that I couldn't measure physically. Most (apart from two) of my sources were found in image search engine results for "planet express building." I took two screenshots from different episodes to assist me with measurements I couldn't obtain from other sources. I aimed to maintain everything as realistic (or as real as a fictional object can be), but I had to modify a few elements to make them printable, primarily the railings in front and back of the hanger and along the windows walk on the tower. Also, the antenna at the top of the tower was made from interconnected beams that would be extremely challenging to print, so I created something with an antenna-like appearance but is easily printable. I divided the model into several parts so the piece could be printed without massive support material and printers with smaller beds (like mine) could produce a larger version. Instructions My printer is a Printrbot Jr v1. It has no upgrades except for a glass bed covered with painters tape. The nozzle size is 0.4mm. I produced my print at an 80% scale, as I had limited filament remaining and did not want to run out in the middle of the print. I could have printed it full-scale if needed. I used kisslicer to slice all parts. I attempted slic3r but it didn't handle some small elements well. Infill speed was 30mm/s on perimeter layers and 45mm/s for sparse and solid infill. I applied medium support to the hanger and the tower bottom, believing additional support might be required for the top of the tower. However, many "planet express" letters detached during support material removal, prompting me to reprint the piece without any supports – with a successful outcome this time.
