A Christmas ornament that doubles as a globe is designed to be easily printed using an FDM printer, requiring some assembly. For easier printing, the design can be split into two parts. Scaling this design to approximately 6cm in diameter (6000x in CURA) yields good results. While painting adds visual appeal, plain versions are also available. Assembly Instructions: Attach the joiner piece to one of the globe halves through its hole. Then, use it to connect the other half. Make sure both parts fit together correctly. I used glue alongside the joiner for a secure bond and recommend this approach. Design Methodology: Relief maps derived from NASA's "Blue Marble" project were used in Blender to create displacement maps.
