Planer to Shop Vac Adapter for Dewalt DW735

A step down and re-direct adapter I made for my Planer to connect to my shopvac. My dust collection set up can't keep up with the ejector fan on the planer, so I have to go direct to my Rigid Shop vac. Even at this point if I shut off the shop vac before the planer the ejector fan can blow the hose off the end of the unit.This Adapter is a press fit for both sides. The curvature is set up so that the shop vac connects at the outer tangent point to catch maximum chips with minimum turbulence. Recommend printing it HEAVY. Minimum 2mm worth of walls at least 30% infill. I printed with supports set for 70º overhangs and that worked well. Still a bit of a Pain to remove, but made for a cleaner inside surface.I have tested this with full 13" wide cuts on hardwood and it has worked flawlessly. Kept my shop nice and tidy.Works with a 1-7/8" Shop vac Hose.
