Specification Wing span: approximately one meter, Length: about 1.45 meters, EDF size: ninety to one-twenty millimeters (or turbine). Flying weight (including battery, esc, and EDF): four to six kilograms. Thrust: a ratio of at least eight hundredths of thrust to weight is recommended (for example, five-kilogram models need four thousand grams-force of thrust). Airfoil: optimized for low Reynolds numbers (five hundred thousand), Wash out angle: approximately four degrees. Takeoff speed: twelve meters per second (four-kilogram model) or fifteen meters per second (six-kilogram model). Maximum angle of attack: twenty-five degrees without slat, or more than forty degrees with slat. All parts have been proven to fit together through actual assembly. Wing and stabilizer components feature assembly tabs for precise alignment. The LE slat feature is experimental; I do not recommend using it or the leading edge flap due to difficulties in proper operation and increased weight. You can simply glue the slat parts to the wing core (wing box). This package includes: DXF files for laser cutting (laser-cutting ready) PDF files for floor plan STL files for 3D printable inlet duct (3D-printing ready) and cheater hole (optional) STL files for canopy mold (for making a canopy with epoxy and fiberglass) Assembly tips Three-millimeter carbon rods are not necessary. First, print the inlet duct and assemble it with other plywood; otherwise, you will need to perform surgery to implant the inlet duct. The inlet parts have been updated for maximum airflow efficiency, so cut a little bit of the inside portion of FW components to fit the new inlet parts. There have been reports that the holes for square carbon rods are slightly small; sand them before assembly to avoid this issue. I hope you enjoy assembling this airplane. Best regards.
