Plan 3D Enclosure CR-10(S)
thingiverse
The STL file has been reduced to millimeters! This is a miniature plan of the enclosure that I have made. Once finished, the enclosure will be 60cm wide, 90cm high, and 70cm deep. The cost of production, excluding labor costs, will vary depending on materials, but will be around €40-€70. To make it, you'll need: 1x High Cabinet (Kitchen) dimensions 700 x 600 x 300mm (Ep. 18mm) (opt for a model with door and bottom included to save time and money) 1x Mélaminated Board Ep. 18mm 600x2000mm 1x Mélaminated Board Ep. 18mm 400x2000mm 1x Pin Tasseau Brut 15x15mm or 15x21mm (your choice) length 2400mm 1X wood screws 1X set of 10 assembly screws "special cabinet". For reasons of solidity, opt for the longest possible. I chose 50mm and diameter 8mm. Mastic of your chosen color. Assembly: First, mount the high kitchen cabinet, leaving aside door and bottom. Take the 600mm board and cut it into two pieces of 90cm (there will be a drop of about 20cm). Use the enclosure to draw an L on both sides of 90cm. Leave 20cm at the bottom for foot and space for control box. Cut the boards one by one to ensure good measurement cutting. Take the tasseau and cut four pieces of 55cm. Screw two tassels to the top corner of the enclosure. Screw the other two tassels under the cabinet. Mount and screw the two L-cut boards, and screw from inside through the tassels. Cut the last board into two pieces of 564mm. Position the boards on the enclosure Screw these in place on the tassels. Identify where it overlaps with lateral panels Drill with a drill bit of 6mm. Screw with assembly screws. Attach the back panel (included with cabinet). Mount the door (optionally made a hole for glass or plexiglass). Seal the gaps and joints between boards with mastic. Drill holes for cable passage. Optional: You can add a sliding board to help intervene on the printer. With drawer slides of 550mm long. Also, you can add a foam seal around the door for better insulation.
