*Make. Break. Repeat! on Facebook*: Updates every Tuesday and Thursday! Ever had a print delaminate due to using the wrong screw? Prevent this by having screw holes printed on the z-axis or diagonally. The best way is to use flat-headed screws, but what if you don't have any? Make them with the PlainZkru washer. Two simple sizes are available for 3xNN (s36) and 4.5xNN (s58) screws that you probably already have in stock. Rescale to match your needs, and I'll add more versions as needed. The washers are oriented upside down to keep the bottom part sized correctly even if printed with a brim or elephant foot, making them fit easily into 8 mm or 10 mm holes. Two "skin" versions of the mentioned sizes have also been added, printing in the expected orientation and matching the width of 3xNN or 4.5xNN screw heads. Their strength is uncertain, but they should work well for holes designed for this size screw head. These washers are simple to make, allowing you to create ones that fit your screws and projects perfectly. The PlainZkru washer is more an idea than a design, but it does work well. Keep in mind that you may need to re-design the screw-holes of your project to work with these washers.
