I bought a version 4 Raspberry Pi and an S2Pi Tower Fan and couldn't find a suitable case to accommodate the fan so I designed one in OpenSCAD. This is a Customizer model. The case does not require the tower fan since the cutout hole for it is optional. This case comes in two pieces: a bottom which is bolted to the motherboard and a top which is a light friction fit onto the bottom. You must use four 2.5mm diameter bolts to secure the bottom case into the motherboard. Important: the bolts are put in up from the bottom. If using an S2Pi tower fan you secure the bolts into the bottom of the brass standoffs that mount the tower fan onto the motherboard. If not using an S2Pi tower fan then you need four 2.5mm nuts as well. The length of the bolts is an option so you can use what you have. After mounting the motherboard to the bottom case, then when placing the top case down over top, care must be taken to route the tall thin bits of the case between the USB ports and the Ethernet port. They are fragile so don't bend them. One disadvantage of this design is that there are significant gaps below the ports leading to a space underneath the motherboard. However this design is easy to fit into the Raspberry Pi and the space underneath can be minimized by using short bolts, minimum 10mm. I used 22mm bolts so the space is rather large. Suggestions for improvement are welcome!
