Plain Boring S-Hook type Shower Curtain Hooks
thingiverse
There are already 100,000 Shower Curtain S-Hooks available on Thingiverse, so I decided to create my own, actually a more attractive option with fun faces is the first step. This project serves as a proof of concept to see if making a hook is feasible. A longer version was added, featuring a longer hook and shorter hole - use the smallest possible bar size that will keep them securely in place. This solution also eliminates the problem of my shower curtain's hooks falling off immediately! For more fun designs, follow me for upcoming projects. I printed this design at 15% infill and .2mm layer height using Simplify 3D on my FlashForge Creator. If you enjoy my creations, support me by checking out my YouTube channels for L3-G0, the Lego R2-D2, and Lego BB-8! Print Settings: Printer: FlashForge Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm (Standard) Infill: 15% (or whatever seems suitable) Notes: To prevent hooks from being knocked off, I made this design slightly longer. If the standard version doesn't fit over your curtain rod, try using the "short" version instead.
