The year 2157 dawned with a deadly virus spreading rapidly, targeting the muscular tissue of its victims with ruthless efficiency. As people failed to adhere to quarantine restrictions, plague enforcers, once notorious offenders themselves, were reprogrammed and unleashed upon the streets to maintain order. The virus's deadly grasp had almost guaranteed their capture while still out in the open; they were subsequently fitted with advanced prosthetics that enabled them swift movement. The specially designed masks wore a haunting visage, intended to instill fear in the public. Integrated filters provided the enforcers with clean air as they patrolled quarantined cities, ever vigilant. A crucial component of their reprogramming involved extracting and replacing the spinal cord, allowing the AI integrated into the masks to guide them and ensure compliance with procedure. The mask's hidden thermal camera proved invaluable in tracking individuals attempting to evade detection and also facilitated temperature checks on detained quarantine violators.
