Plague Doctor Mask
thingiverse
As someone who wears glasses, not all masks are well-suited for me. This year for Halloween, I decided to take matters into my own hands and print my own mask. The moment it dawned on me was when I thought of the kind of mask that plague doctors supposedly wore during the 14th to 19th century plague era in Europe. To make sure it fit perfectly, I modified the design by adding two eyepieces that would fit snugly over my glasses. I also removed the original straps and rivets so that I could use real ones instead. Since the mask was too small, I scaled it up a bit to give it more clearance around the head. This allowed me to remove the breathing holes, making the mask even more realistic. The print was cut into parts to minimize supports. Please note that I used some additional tools and materials after printing to complete this mask. Feel free to adjust the model as needed since it's significantly larger than the original, requiring post-processing for a perfect fit.
