Human: update 20171019: new model uploaded (V3) with corrected scaling (200mm) The design of this vase revolves around a custom-made guitar pick/plectrum (PLActron - the customizable & biodegradable guitpick), which is rotated 240 degrees around the z-axis and extruded along a sine in z. This model has been scaled to fit most printers and accommodate most flowers, with a height of 20cm. Three different versions of this vase are available for download, each offering unique characteristics. The smallest version with 32 segments adds an interesting geometric element, while the 500seg version produces a smooth shape. If undecided, the 100seg-version is a good compromise. Cura 15.02.1 slicing suggestions include: Standard config - Print Speed: 42mm/s (essential for quality) - Layer Height: 0.1 mm - Shell Thickness: 0.8mm - Retraction off - Bottom/Top Thickness 1.1mm - Fill Density: 0% - No Support, No Platform adhesion Expert config - Section Infill: uncheck "Solid infill top" - Section Black Magic: check "Spiralize the outer contour" This model is relatively easy to print, with no overhangs or detailed structures, allowing for printing in 0.3mm > Layers without hesitation.
