With my edited 3D prints I showcase the innovative use of new media in a museum setting. The focal point is Epichysis, an ancient Greek oil jug from the Musée Saint-Raymond collection, now available as open-source material. Utilizing software like Meshmixer and Adobe Photoshop, I digitally manipulated the scans to create unique 3D printed objects. Adding an image projection directly onto these prints adds a new layer of context that wasn't previously apparent. By recreating ancient artifacts, I empower viewers to engage with the sculptures not just visually but also through tactile interaction, bridging the gap between the artist, the museum, and the observer.
