Place Card Decoration - Baby Shoe
pinshape
I wanted to create a special keepsake for my newborn son's christening celebration. I decided on a tiny baby shoe that could be used as a decorative element on the place cards. The shoes were designed to snap together, consisting of two separate parts. Printed with a MakerBot Replicator 2, the details are incredibly precise. The settings I used included 10% infill for optimal strength and durability. Two shells were printed to provide additional support and stability. A layer height of 0.2mm ensured a smooth finish and crisp texture. To prevent any warping or sagging, I added support structure on the top piece.
