A market stall owner reached out to me for assistance - she wanted to promote the fact that her business accepts credit card payments with a compact stand that can sit neatly on a table. The stand needed to exude a neat, professional image while being robust enough to withstand being tossed into a box of glassworking tools without sustaining any damage. After some brainstorming, it became apparent that the stand could also serve as a storage container for the actual hardware involved in processing payments, which ultimately led us to design this - a sleek case that holds the electronics and features a placard panel where the payment provider sign is displayed. The box has a recessed slot on its underside, allowing the placard to be easily inserted once it's removed from the case. Now, I'm not sure if anyone else will have the same specific need for the exact same payment processing system, but who knows, maybe this design can fit another purpose and serve as a valuable resource. As such, I've decided to share it, just in case someone might find it useful. Oh wait... just in case... ah, never mind!
