This is my brand new OpenSCAD PLA gear kit. The pin connectors are specifically engineered to work seamlessly with PLA - so they remain flexible and don't crack when inserted. The concept behind this kit is that the gear center and pins stay the same, while only the outer shells change. This clever design allows for interchangeable individual gear plates, which should significantly simplify the creation of all sorts of innovative gear object combinations. Enjoy! UPDATE August 31, 2013 Experiencing issues with loose pins when using some PLA colors? I've added two new pin plate options to resolve this problem - one has a 0.2mm thicker diameter and the other has a 0.4mm thicker diameter.
