I slightly modified the bearing, making a small chamfer on both the bottom and top to make it easier to use right away without having to remove the edge from the bottom. I didn't want the chamfer to be too big because I wanted to use it in the Prusa i3 frame where they just sit in rectangular holes and need an edge so they can sit properly in position. UPDATE AFTER 2 YEARS! Bushings still fine, ABS, PLA still the same - quiet as possible and better printing results than linear bearings. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100 Notes: I adjusted settings so printer uses only perimeters, makes it print faster and they are full of plastic, making them strong. I prefer PLA because it's harder than ABS. ABS wears out quicker but still works fine. Post-Printing Step 1. Use an 8mm drill to drill through the middle. Step 2. Try it on an 8mm smooth rod. If it slides easily, it's OK. If it's too hard to slide, go back to Step 1. Step 3. Once installed on printer and everything seems to slide relatively OK, spray some silicone grease on smooth rods and you're done!
