PL1Q Vampire / PL2Q Hugin stretched body modification
thingiverse
A modification for the PL1Q Vampire, the 3D printable quadcopter / PL2Q Hugin by swepet. I didn't like the size of the body on the original Vampire/Hugin quadcopter; it looked too small in amongst the arms, so I stretched it by about 50%. The added bonus is that there's more room for electronics to be housed in the body since I'm fitting magnetometer and GPS sensor boards, as well as a camera control system. I also added cutouts on the legs for a battery strap to be fitted. The chassis now measures 110 mm x 160 mm; the legs are 133 mm x 183 mm (without the "mouse") and the canopy is 98 mm x 148 at their largest.
