Once secured to a glass jar, this fly trap for jam pots will transform your innocent container into an merciless trap for flies and wasps. The diameter corresponds to standard glass jars of the type jam pot (approximately 81mm diameter at the exterior of the threads). The conical shape prevents insects from escaping the pot. This trap has been optimized to be both light and solid. The wires are 1.2mm thick (and even 1mm for the cone) and are reinforced with ribs. Its shape allows it to be printed without support. The impression of this trap will consume only 20g of PLA (wall thickness 0.4mm, filling 25%). The system is protected from rain by its upper cap with "water drop" edge. It can easily be suspended by passing a string through the large holes. Different diameters are available for the conical entrance opening. The 20mm diameter works for large flies, although some manage to escape. Other diameters are currently being tested.
