To avoid replacing the costly motor of the electric bed in the nursing home, we redesigned and reprinted the defective piece of the motor.\nThis part being in motion within the motor, the first technical challenge was creating a specific thread pitch in 3D (trapezoidal). The threads that secure the part to the bed were directly tapped into the plastic material.
