PizzaBox Controller for X-Carve 500mmx500mm
thingiverse
I couldn't wait for the X-Controller to arrive so I created a custom laser cut case for my X-Carve electronics, incorporating many of its features into the base. The internal relay has two plugs with separate switches that allow each one to be turned on or off or used as a relay. An E-stop is also included, along with start/hold/reset buttons right where they're needed. I've moved all the connections to the side and placed control switches at the front for easy access. This new setup has become my go-to alternative. Having it located underneath the machine saves precious table space while still keeping everything within reach. Plus, it freed up more room for the electronics themselves, which were starting to get a bit cramped in their previous home. Now there's ample wire clearance and airflow around all the components. Here is the list of parts used for the buttons, switches, and plugs: all the electronics come from Inventables, and the case is held together with a generous selection of M3-40mm nuts and bolts.
