Pizza Planet Rocket
thingiverse
This is a replica of the iconic Pizza Planet rocket from various PIXAR films. I created it to be printed without infill in the main rocket body, ensuring a smooth, lightweight design. I will soon design a magnetic base that attaches securely, allowing for easy reorientation of the parts when needed. Enjoy this model! EDIT: The orientation of the parts has been corrected, so you won't need to adjust them in your slicer. EDIT: An additional tail section with filleted fins has been added to reduce overhangs. If you're printing with limited part cooling or materials that struggle with overhangs, use this updated version. EDIT: Several magnetic bases have been designed using four and six 1.26" by 0.7" neodymium magnets, as suggested by ProfessorMajack. The holes for the magnets are slightly oversized to allow for epoxy adhesion. The four-magnet base offers more flexibility for curved surfaces but may not provide a secure hold. Note that I have yet to test or print either magnetic base. EDIT: An OBJ file of the base has been uploaded at the request of ProfessorMajack, with instructions to rotate it before printing.
