Pizza Light - first layer multi color print
thingiverse
I designed this for my outdoor entertainment area at home, and because its outdoor i printed it in PETG. The original model i printed was 700mm wide and cut up into sections which i glued together. Thereafter someone asked me for the files, and to make it easier for others i have made it fit the standard Ender 3 bed size - so no i have not printed this exact model. I used prusaslicer to slice this, opened up the black layer, then right clicked on the model and clicked add part. Then open all the other parts. from here, you need to right click each object/color (excepting the first 1 yellow) and change it to negative part. Now when you slice this will only slice the yellow layer, which you export. then go back to model, delete the yellow layer and change the 2nd object/color from negative to part, slice this, it will then only slice the second part. continue till you have sliced all 8 parts. Then print it in the order, print the first one, leave it on the bed and print the second once, repeat till they are all done. For better results, i turned off perimeters for the first layer, this will make all the colors layers flow in the same direction and not have an outline on each color.
