This adapter provides mounting versatility for Princeton Instruments Pixis 1024B cameras by allowing them to be secured directly onto wire shelves, accommodating various spacing arrangements between the wires to enable effortless lens integration or, alternatively, permitting wire removal. Utilized extensively in our bespoke plant growth and fluorescence/bioluminescence imaging systems, this design proves invaluable for facilitating precise measurements and enhanced visual capabilities. Prior to application in our laboratory setup, it is crucial that this mount is thoroughly painted or printed black using non-reflective, high-quality paints like those commonly found on chalkboards to significantly minimize potential phosphorescent artifacts that might arise during imaging processes. The screws necessary for a secure mounting procedure are, unfortunately, not included with the current shipment. To utilize this versatile tool, one must first locate the mounting adapter's primary rectangular structure featuring five discreetly positioned holes, perfectly crafted for precision screw placement and stable assembly onto any designated support surface within the plant growth or fluorescence/bioluminescence imaging setup.
