Pixhawk/Arduino Mega box

Pixhawk/Arduino Mega box

thingiverse

A simple box built upon the excellent Ultimate Box Maker by Heartman, this enclosure cradles an Arduino Mega, a Pixhawk, the RadioLink GPS and a 4-line display. Holes accommodate USB connections for both boards. Mount the Pixhawk on a block of foam to elevate it to the correct height for the USB hole. The display is sourced from SainSmart. Guides in the top secure the GPS, while guides at the bottom keep the Pixhawk perfectly aligned. An RC receiver is Velcro'd to the inside of the top. Wedge the buzzer between the Pixhawk and the wall so that the hole in the wall aligns with the buzzer and glue it firmly in place. The higher hole accommodates the Pixhawk button, potentially requiring drilling depending on the chosen button. The front panel boasts my company name but can be easily flipped around for alternative use. This enclosure was specifically designed for a robot lawn mower application.
