PixelCube 300x300 CoreXY
thingiverse
Inspired by Tech2c's HyperCube (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1752766), Lehaiver's CoreXY design (https://grabcad.com/library/corexy-frame-v-2-0-1 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2138286) and Tripple leadscrew design from ROVThijs (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2992515), I adapted this PixelCube to suit my needs, utilizing 2020 extrusions. This project remains a work in progress; I will add parts, Bill of Materials (BOM) and text as the build advances. Designs are created using Fusion 360 and can be viewed on https://a360.co/2UAPsbw (updated). All components are designed to be printed without support structures. Update 12-1-2019: I added a new render, revised several printable parts, redesigned the Y-carriage due to original weaknesses. The XY pulley mount was also modified to accommodate increased X-axis movement. The first draft of the hotend with BL-Touch was created, along with a heatbed carriage featuring only two bars; the heatbed itself is aluminum and robust enough. This design provides additional room on the Z-axis. I have printed some parts and established the basic structure of the printer.
