Pixel XL Dock
thingiverse
A sleek, compact dock for the Pixel XL that utilizes the included cables, though other cables may also work - a point I haven't thoroughly investigated yet. The insert.stl design makes it effortless to insert and remove the cable. A track with clips effectively keeps the cable in place, preventing any interference with the sturdy stand (which resists wobbling or pushing). Ninety-degree speaker ports are included for aesthetic balance, as there is only one speaker. The dock's stand is remarkably secure and easy to use for docking or undocking the phone. My own cable has been badly damaged from using a different phone stand that required hot glue to keep it in place - an approach that ultimately failed. This dock ensures your cable will not be damaged; on the contrary, it will help extend its lifespan by securely keeping it in position. Inserting the cable was effortless for me, but I had someone else try and they were unable to do so. Apparently, they used needle-nose pliers to push the cable up into the slot where it protrudes from the top - a measure they took because their fingers couldn't fit inside that narrow space. There are three files available: Insert.stl and _nocase.stl (which will suffice for most users), but if you're using my honeycomb case, then you'll need to use the _case.stl file instead.
