Pixel Spring Clip

Pixel Spring Clip

This spring clip enables you to connect two pixels within blow molds or analogous items, including 3D printed objects. It accommodates holes just slightly larger than a 1" diameter. - To print this clip successfully, it needs to be oriented on its side so that the layers run along the length of the spring legs instead of across them. - Due to limited contact areas until mid-thickness, I've encountered instances where the pixel flanges lose bed adhesion when printing at heights around 3-4 mm. However, after making design adjustments, I've printed numerous pixels successfully since then. - It is recommended to insert pixels from the wired ends rather than snapping them sideways into place. Avoid inserting pixels so far that the widened portion of the clip resides inside it. The fit should be sufficient to hold the pixels in place with just the flat body within the clip.
