Pixel Spotlight
thingiverse
This is a compact spotlight with an adjustable stand that employs 12mm bullet node LEDs and is designed specifically for outdoor holiday accent illumination. The LEDs themselves are waterproof, allowing for an open design with a large aperture at the rear accommodating 3-wire waterproof connectors and a drain hole in the hood to prevent water accumulation. The design is fully parametric, and the Fusion 360 archive is included. You may need to adjust the case thickness and LED node diameter based on your LEDs as vendors can vary slightly. I recommend printing the LED ring first and testing it with your LEDs to determine if the LED fit and case depth will be sufficient. If not, adjust the size in Fusion through Modify->Change Parameters. Changing "LED_diameter" and "case_depth" will scale the entire design. You can also modify hood length and projection angle to customize how tight you want the spotlight to be. The default design is relatively broad with a soft edge that works well for up-close accent lighting, designed for 7 LEDs but easily scalable if needed. To ensure cleaner printing, I eliminated the threads from the case and created snap-in nuts. Pay attention to the nubs on the nuts and how they are inserted into the case. Check the case model in your slicer or reference the included picture for orientation.
