Pixel Snowflake
thingiverse
Snowflake Christmas prop - uses 25 WS2811 pixels I intend to use these as "yard stakes". The design is similar to this one: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/small-snowflake-pixel-model But it is not a remix - I did not like pixel locking method so I grabbed a better mechanism from this: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/small-snowflake-pixel-model and built a whole new model. The mount is for 1/2" PVC - remixed from this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5122760 *a 6x1/2" screw should work There are several mounting holes in the flake (I am hoping that one mount is sufficient). The included "Pixel Lock Tester" can be used to see if you need to make the model slightly smaller or larger (you want a tight fit for the pixels - you just insert them and twist). I am thinking that the PVC pipe could go over rebar (stuck in the ground) or I may try a printed "stake" (several models already exist). Use PETG filament for models that will be outside. Also included is an Xlights model - the pixel wiring is basically a spiral starting from the middle.
