Pixel Shoes
thingiverse
Anyone who's ever played some 80's videogame in their life has probably fantasized at one point or another about what it would be like to live in a classic arcade game. Do you remember? Well now you can feel exactly that and step into your very own videogame world with these amazing 'Pixel shoes' that look exactly like they've been plucked straight out of some classic videogame. The "Pixel shoes" can be printed with a varying degree of infill, meaning you can make them softer or harder based on your needs. According to Ignacio, it only takes approximately 10 hours to print out an entire shoe (46EU) on the Prusa i3 3D printer, with a large crystal bed and no need for a heated bed. You can use every color you want or use two, three, or more colors in the shoe. Look how it looks when the 3D printed sole is in Blue FilaFlex and the rest of the shoe is in Black - the combination is infinite (46EU size). These shoes are super cool and have a unique design that will be turning heads everywhere you go. What are you waiting for? Print your own Pixel shoes! Here's how: **Print Settings** * 3D printers: Prusa Steel, BCN 3D printer * Filament: FilaFlex Filament * Print speed: 50 mm/s * Fill density: 25% * Layer Height: 0.25 mm * Temp: 220°C * Support Type: Everywhere * Perimeter: 40 * Angle support: 70 **How I Designed This** Designed by Recreus founder Ignacio Garcia, the "Pixel Shoes" are inspired by Minecraft and classic videogames. Ignacio explained that he used the Meshmixer software for this project, which allowed him to create this amazing "Pixel" texture - something out of a movie or video game.
