Here's a revised charging stand for the Pixel Buds case that showcases the charging light and utilizes the included cable from the box, although it likely supports most Google USB-C cables as well. To ensure I'm on the right track, please let me know what you think! Version 2 has been updated with a slightly wider USB hole and a slight adjustment to the slot, which made it fit just a bit better. However, it's still a tad too snug.
