Pixel 7 Moment T-Series Stick-On Mount

thingiverse

I created a stick-on mount for Moment's T-series lenses which are their newest line of phone lenses. This stick-on mount is designed for the Pixel 7. This mount is similar to the mount I created for the M-series lenses, however, the bayonet system on the new T-series lenses is larger. I also put the bayonet features over both cameras so you can attach the lens on either camera. The stick-on mount fits perfectly with the Moment Pixel 7 mag-safe case. I am not sure how the mount will fit with any other cases. You will need 3M VHB tape or something similar to stick the mount to your phone. I had a few parts printed at my local library (they have a new Bambu Lab printer), and overall it looks great and feels sturdy. I purchased the anamorphic lens and it appears to have a good, smooth fit with my 3D printed parts. I did have to adjust the position of the anamorphic lens using the hex tool that comes with it so that the lens is positioned straight. I haven't attached the mount to my phone and tested it with my lens yet, but will update this post once I have tested the parts. Feel free to download and print at your own risk. I posted a STEP file as well so feel free to remix or modify to your liking. Drop a comment if you ran any parts and tested it out with the lens. Thanks!UPDATEI attached the lens mount to my phone using a double-sided grip tape. I don't see any shadows or vignetting when just using camera with or without the lens. Attaching the lens to the mount is smooth, and the lens stays in place and does not fall out. The lens does not have as tight of a fit as the actual Moment cases, this might be due to the material used for the mount. I had mine printed in PLA, so the finish is very smooth vs. Moment cases which are made out of a rubber material so it has a little more grip and friction with the lens. Overall, I'm happy with this mount. The lens looks great and I'm excited to do some additional tests and actually use the lens and mount for a longer period of time to see if I can make any improvements. I also like this type of stick-on mount so I can still use the Moment mag-safe case. And printing in different filament colors gives a unique look that stands out (Pro Tip: go to your local library and see if they have a 3D printer. Most libraries nowadays have a 3D printing lab and it is completely free to use. I've printed a ton of parts in the past few months at my library and didn't have to pay anything, I just needed a library card and they printed my parts very fast. These lens mounts printed the same day that I sent them the file). Feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks!UPDATE (1/3/24)Quick update, I made a slight modification to the bayonet feature and made it a little tighter to hopefully get a more snug fit with the lens. The latest file is (v2-Bayonet Mod).
