Based on the Nexus 6P Desk and Car Charging Dock by whoDat, published Dec 28, 2015 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1229563 I made several changes to the original design to fit my Nexus 6P perfectly, even without a case. I also scaled down the model to print on my 120mm x 120mm x 120mm MP Select Mini printer. The cardock is attached to a goose arm that I had lying around from a previous project. Note: I printed this in PLA, but our recent heatwave caused some warping, especially since my car has a black exterior and interior. Luckily, I turned on the air conditioning just in time to prevent further damage. Now I'm curious to see if it will withstand the cooler weather ahead. Next time, I plan to print it in ABS for better durability. UPDATE: After using the dock for some time, I added a plug to cover the center section when attached to the goose arm. UPDATE: Since upgrading to a Pixel 2 XL, I found that my phone fits perfectly without any modifications required.
