Pixel 2 mounting case for motorcycle handlebars (or other uses)
thingiverse
Mounting case for a Pixel 2 designed to hold the phone along with the Newdery auxiliary battery case, available at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CCG3ZC5/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The mounting bracket is repurposed from an old handlebar mounting bracket for a previous phone and is glued into the main body. It can be easily modified to fit other applications. The case holds together using silicone rubber bands commonly used in hairstyles such as ponytails, available at most drugstore cosmetic departments. This design could work with any phone that doesn't have an auxiliary battery, but some foam would need to be placed behind the phone to fill the unused space. The Fusion 360 file is somewhat disorganized due to multiple iterations of the design being contained in a single project and not following best practices for modification. Sorry for the inconvenience. Update: Version 2 features a built-in sun shield and prints as two separate parts, eliminating the need for separate buttons for the rubber bands.
