This thing was designed with Tinkercad, where you can edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/ePwn4AvY4bq. Currently, I am using 2" wide flat aluminum stock cut into 3" pieces to hold two strands of Pixabulbs mounted in a Boscoyo pixabulb mounting strip. The angles are carefully calculated for a 180' tree with 24 strands. My mega tree features 12 hooks on the top for these clips, and I use two of them to sandwich the two pixabulb strips together and secure with nuts & bolts. Note that there is overlap between the two strips at the top. Right now, I am printing out these pieces and experimenting with different materials. This project is a work in progress. If you have access to a CNC machine, you could also use this design to cut aluminum stock.
