In my recent carbon composite mountain bike frame build, I utilized this fixture specifically for grinding suspension pivot lengths on my bike. To learn more about sanding techniques used during the process, visit http://carbonmtb.blogspot.com and read the posts titled "Sanding Length of Composite Pivot Tubes" and "Sanding 001: Diameter Tolerance with a Random Orbit Sander." The CAD file consists of multiple solid bodies stacked together, which must be suppressed or deleted to print each separately. These components were used on a WEN model benchtop belt sander to achieve precise tolerances. For more information on the pivot designs incorporated into the frame, check out "Carbon Fiber Mountain Bike Front Triangle."
