Pivot Ball Lock
pinshape
I decided to create a one-print design for a pivoting ball locking device and here's the result. I used a 1/4-20 tap to drill the holes, so be sure to orient your printer correctly when printing. The design may need to be adjusted depending on the slicer you're using - Simplify3d works well with mine, as it asks if you want to scale the STL file accordingly. If I make any variations, I'll post them here later. Note that a standard tap didn't work for me initially, so I ordered a bottom end tap to see how it turns out. It's also possible to scale this design slightly for better results.
