Pittsburgh Steelers Guitar Knobs

thingiverse

My cousin requested that I craft a left-handed electric guitar with a Pittsburgh Steelers theme, so I purchased a right-handed SG kit and got to work. I carefully dissected the body and reassembled it as a lefty by gluing the pieces back together in their new configuration. To complete the look, I designed and 3D printed some custom volume and tone knobs that feature the iconic Steelers logo. The provided files include various knob designs, such as raised "V" or "T" symbols for volume and tone, as well as a plain knob with no logo. Additionally, I included a round back panel to enhance the visual representation of the logo (check out the accompanying photos). Other 3D printed components on the guitar are the pickguard, truss rod cover, and bridge support, which is necessary to adjust the angle of the bridge for proper intonation as a left-handed instrument.
