If you are here, you must already know about PiTrezor: This enclosure is compact, requires no screws or hardware and encloses fully all components (no exposed buttons) while maintaining access to the SD card. https://www.pitrezor.com/2018/02/pitrezor-homemade-trezor-bitcoin-wallet.html PiTrezor is a DIY hardware Bitcoin wallet that you can build yourself sourcing general purpose components, thus avoiding any possibility of supply chain attack. To assemble you need a raspberry pi zero with no headers soldered. If you get the wifi version it will work but the wifi driver is not loaded. For display I recommend this SSD1306 style 0.96 screen: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LYL7QFQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You will also need a couple of tactile buttons like these: https://www.amazon.com/QTEATAK-Momentary-Tactile-Button-Switch/dp/B07VSNN9S2/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1ZZGIZ2C449JA&dchild=1&keywords=6mm+tactile&qid=1615402366&sprefix=6mm+tact%2Celectronics%2C154&sr=8-1 Assembly is straight forward as all the parts snap into place. In order to fit the display you might find it necessary to flex the bezel so that the clips stretch out. Remove the SD card prior to inserting the board. Reinsert the card after that. The software used is the official trezor one firmware packaged as a raspberry pi image. Since all software is on github you may audit as you wish. Be aware that there is no secure element in the raspberry pi zero, so your private key can be extracted from the SD card if it falls in the wrong hands. For this reason it is strongly recommended that you use a passphrase (BIP32 HD) with this device (as well as any trezor for that matter!) This 3D printed enclosure is my contribution.
