Pitot Tube Mini-Mount
thingiverse
After producing several Pitot tube mounts that were all too large and intrusive, I opted for a minimalist approach and designed one that would mount underneath the leading edge of the wing or on the side of the fuselage nose. The result is a two-piece print that accommodates many of the all-metal pitot tubes sold by most FPV suppliers, including the metal pitot tube pictured for reference. To install this Pitot tube mount, simply draw the outline of the base under the wing where the leading edge angle keeps the tube level (about 18mm back on my Mini Talon). Next, carve a shallow recess inside the marks and secure the base in place. Then, use thin servo tape or rubber glue to attach the pitot tube to the tube mount and snap the cover into position. Finally, run the hoses slightly inlaid into the wing to where you want the sensor, using nylon antenna wire tubing for this purpose.
