Outer diameter of the gear's arrows indicates pitch diameter of a gear is actually where gears meet. Measuring the outer diameter yields 59.85mm, but this result comes from tolerances and the real pitch diameter is 60mm as noted on the back. The direction of the arrow reveals that when two gears connect, their angular speeds are in reverse. This model is compact to allow all components to be printed by any printer with a minimum bed size of 120mm x 120mm.
