Pitch control on ZMR250
cults3d
I struggled to achieve a stable camera pitch angle during takeoff, so I developed a system that adjusts this angle based on the helicopter's flight pattern. Now you can launch with a 0° angle and smoothly transition to a 30° pitch while flying, then return to a 0° angle for landing. To set up the servo arm and gimbal, you'll need a kit from Heli World. I used a Robbe servo in my setup. While the system is still vulnerable to crashes, adjusting the mount angle should minimize damage and help it survive minor impacts. Check out this short video showing my first test flight: https://youtu.be/4imeJsxxsrI My next goal is to put the system through its paces during a full flight and share the results as soon as possible.
