A simple, printable model of a piston is available to demonstrate mechanical principles. Additional models can be downloaded to further explore this concept. To assemble the piston, an M3 screw approximately 10 mm in length is required to connect the cam and shaft. A small piece of filament is necessary to attach the piston to the shaft. Printing all the parts takes around one hour and thirty minutes without support material. The model requires about four to five meters of filament. Caution is advised, as I intentionally designed large gaps between the parts for smooth operation. If enlarged, it may be necessary to adjust the scale of the moving components to minimize play.
