Piston Sliding Puzzle-HARD
myminifactory
This puzzle was born from countless sliding puzzles I've encountered online and in my everyday life. A creative spark struck when I realized that incorporating a piston could push an entire row at once, making this already challenging puzzle even more demanding. How I Designed This I utilized AutoDesk Fusion 360 for the design and Cura for slicing the prints. How It Works Four holes are strategically positioned on each side of the case, perfectly sized to accommodate the piston. By carefully aligning these positions, you can push one entire row at a time. A set of grooves on the bottom of every piece matches up with corresponding holes in the case, ensuring that the pieces remain aligned. Print Settings I opted for a 0.2mm layer height and a 0.4mm nozzle. To achieve optimal results, supports are necessary for both the case and piston, but you can dispense with support material altogether. My Creality Ender 2 printer made quick work of this project.
